Lands’ End Canvas Men’s Swim Trunks are ILL

It’s hot in August son.  Even hotter in the city.  When it’s hot you want to stay fly, and keep cool.  The beach is fly and the water is cool too.  Is the light bulb going off in your head yet?  Yeah me too my ninja.  THE BEACH SON! The beach has ladies walking and laying around almost butt naked, the water is cool, and the sand, the sand is freaky.  Freaky enough to roll around in, with a fine honie preferably.

And you will need some swim trunks for the beach B. because swim trunks are made for swimming.  Know what I mean jelly bean.  Land’s End Canvas has some ILL swim trunks at even ILLER prices.  I personally coped a pair of these dope Lands’ End Canvas red board shorts on some retro 1982 swag for 50% off B!  $23.99

April 19 marked the two year anniversay of the untimely death of Guru, of the famed Hip Hop duo Gangstarr.

Guru can be summed up in two words “Hip Hop”.  Guru was and always will be Hip Hop.  Together Guru and DJ Premier created timeless records.  They created hip hop music in it’s purest and illest form, dope beats and dope rhymes!  They stayed true to their music and never changed their concept to sell records.  YOU CAN NOT, and I repeat YOU CAN NOT claim to be a fan of Hip Hop if you do not at least have an appreciation for Gangstarr’s music. And if you have never heard of Guru and/or Gangstarr you’re not allowed to discuss hip hop music with me because that’s like claiming to be an NBA fan and not  knowing who Larry Bird or Magic Johnson are.  Guru’s music inspires me and I hope brothas and sistas y’all keep playing his records.  As Mister Cee put it on his Hot 97 Guru Tribute Mix "The boy Guru didn’t have hits.  The boy Guru had catalogs".  So this weekend y’all turn the volume up and crank some Guru records hard body!  RIP Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal!

New York is the ILLEST!

Yo, it’s a beautfiul Spring day in New York.  It’s the kind of day that reminds you why New York and the East is is the ILLEST!  I’m cranking this jam in my headphones today, and I suggest you do as well.  If you’re cruising in the whip, put the windows down, and turn the volume up on this one.  R.I.P GURU.
